WOV Aesthetics Policies
Booking Policy:
All of our appointments are very important to us. This is time we’ve set aside just for you and we don’t want anyone to miss the opportunity to receive services. In order to help facilitate smooth booking and rescheduling of appointments made within WOV Aesthetics software, WOV requires a credit card on file when booking your service.
Children & Extra Persons Policy:
WOV Aesthetics respectfully requests that you find alternative childcare for your children during your scheduled appointment time. At this time we do not allow children or extra persons in the treatment room.
Please note that at this time male clients are accepted by referral only. Thank you for your understanding!
Right to Refuse Service Policy:
The safety of our staff and our clients is our utmost priority. As such, WOV Aesthetics reserves the right to refuse service to anyone if we feel that they pose a risk to the business and/or clients.
This includes but is not limited to: lice, skin infections, open wounds, contagious illness or rude/obnoxious/obscene behavior.
Client Conduct Policy:
Any sexual insinuation, gesture, or request otherwise will result in immediate termination of your session and a refusal of any and all services in the future. We DO NOT allow any type of recording in the treatment room for any reason.
You will be charged the full service fee regardless of the length of your session.
Failure to adhere to this policy may result in your name being added to a database shared by local service providers (ex. massage therapists, aestheticians, etc.) and potentially turned over to local law enforcement.

Cancellation Policy:
We want to give every client the time and attention that you deserve for your service. We understand that sometimes circumstances arise and you need to make adjustments to your plans. If you must reschedule your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice. You can make changes to reschedule your appointment through your appointment email & text notifications under “Manage My Booking”.
Cancellations or No-Show’s without 24-hour notice will result in a 40% Cancellation/No-Show fee, whichever applies. Appointments made within WOV Aesthetics mean that we’ve reserved space and time, specifically for you.
If you need to cancel because of a personal or medical emergency, please contact us as soon as possible, and we can decide how best to proceed.
We understand that sometimes life is unpredictable, and so we allow for a 10 minute grace period for late arrival in case you are unexpectedly delayed. Please understand that if you are repeatedly late, it will result in a ban from the online booking site.
Skincare Treatments*:
If you are on any acne topicals and/or retinols, you must discontinue use one week prior to your treatment.
Accutane patients must wait one year after discontinuing use to receive treatments.
Do not tan/spray tan within 24 hours of a skincare treatment.
*New clients - please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out appropriate paperwork, followed by your consultation.
Waxing*:
If you are on any acne topicals and/or retinols, you must discontinue use two weeks prior to your treatment.
Accutane patients must wait one year after discontinuing use to receive treatments.
Do not tan/spray tan within 48 hours of a waxing treatment.
Contraindications for waxing: varicose veins, blood thinners, cold sores (herpes simplex), diabetes, epilepsy, haemophila operations/recent scar tissue, any contagious skin conditions, current brow microblading

Note from our Founder:
At WOV we understand that everyone’s skincare budget varies. And while using something is generally better than nothing, please understand that we cannot guarantee transformative results unless you are on a recommended skincare regimen from WOV Aesthetics.
If there is a specific issue(s) you are wishing to tackle, I will recommend certain products based on my knowledge and expertise to further enhance the results from your treatment/treatment plan.
At this time we do not give out recommendations on OTC products, because as stated above, we feel we would be doing our clients a disservice.

Welcome! I am so excited to meet you! First you will need to schedule a consultation or treatment (see next FAQ for which one to schedule). Once you have booked your treatment/consultation, you will be asked to input your card info and pay the 40% non-refundable deposit. (Please note that at this time male clients are accepted by referral only. Thank you for your understanding!)
Please read the WOV Policies carefully. These are in place to protect both the business and the client and are non-negotiable.
Please avoid picking at your skin, at-home dermaplaning, tanning beds, sunburns and retinol/acne topical use for 1 week beforehand.
Please allow 2-3 weeks between Botox/filler and your facial, and 4 weeks between laser treatments and your facial.
Preferably, come makeup-free, but don’t stress on cleansing your skin before you come. Also, try to get your workout done for the day before your facial.
If you scheduled a waxing, please discontinue tanning beds, sunburns and retinol/acne topical use for 2 weeks beforehand.
On the day of your appointment, please show up 15 minutes early to ensure enough time to fill out your paperwork and have a proper consult.
Once that is done, we will begin your treatment and you will be on your way to healthy, glowing skin!

For my first time clients, I always prefer them to schedule a “regular” facial or consultation. This allows me to get a look at your skin and what is going on. Once I have established that, we can move forward in selecting the best facial treatment plan for you.

What is a consultation? This is perfect for those who are seeking advice on a skincare regimen, or would like to discuss treatment options before booking. We will assess what is and isn't working about your current skincare/diet habits and I will recommend a personalized skincare routine for you, along with treatment recommendations.

That all depends on what concerns you have and what you are looking to treat. No matter what you schedule, during your consult we will work together to make sure that is the best choice for you.
New clients always receive a full consult along with appropriate paperwork. No matter how long a client has been seeing me, I will do a mini consult before each service. I do this to make sure nothing has changed from the last time you saw me, and to make sure you are still a good candidate for the treatment you scheduled.
However, if there was a treatment scheduled and during your consult we realize you are not a good fit, I will recommend a different treatment option. I will not be pressured or threatened into doing a service that I believe could potentially yield negative results.

Absolutely! Generally, after your appointment is finished, I will make recommendations if that is something you are looking for. I keep select product on hand and I can order what you are needing and have it drop shipped. Shipping is a flat $13 for up to 4 products and $20 for up to 8 products. Free shipping applies to orders over $200.
Unsure if you’ll like the product? Wanting to try a couple products at once? We also carry an array of samples to purchase!
We offer storyderm and Hale & Hush products as our main lines. We also offer ekseption and ISOV! Our unique array is sourced from Spain, Korea & the USA. We are able to comfortably cater to every fitz type with these lines!

Yes! Physical gift cards can be purchased in store. We do not have online gift cards available.
Gift cards have no cash value. Gift card sales are final and non-refundable. Gift cards can be used one at a time per appointment and cannot be combined with another gift card/loyalty card. You have one year from time of purchase to use the balance of the gift card.

Cash is very much appreciated; however we do accept Credit, Debit and Venmo.

Oh no! I do apologize if you are unable to schedule an appointment in the evening with me.
However, owning WOV Aesthetics is not the only way I serve others. During the day I work full time at an accounting firm, so right now my schedule only allows for evening appointments with some weekends.
Since appointments with me are limited, I do strongly recommend pre-booking your appointments as far ahead as you can.

Yes, products bought in suite can be returned for store credit or exchanged for a product of similar or greater value. You will have 15 days from the time of purchase to return the product. Please schedule a product exchange through our GlossGenius site; or text WOV to set up a time to return your product.
If the product is a piece of jewelry, clothing or candle/wax melt it must be unused and in original condition.
Gift cards/vouchers cannot be returned or exchanged.
Discounted/Sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Skincare & body products are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged due to the nature of the products.
All items purchased through our online website are final sale and cannot be returned. Please be sure to read through the ingredient deck listed to ensure no allergies.
